I personally believe that in today's complex and fast pace world we are heading towards new global issues such as War/Food Crises/Economy/Education/Health. Capitalistic super powers from west are isolating people from the third world, so they can utilize more and more natural resources without any interference.
After the collapse of USSR, for America to be dominant it had to start a global conflict issue or pursuit one, so that they can demonstrate it in front of Congress/Senate/American Public (A so called war on Terror)
Now after 7 years of 911 what America has gain and what it has lost can be seen on global media. US economic crises could have been prevented as our leaders in DC knew it a head of time. Now the whole world will be sucked into this "Black Hole."
The nations that will suffer the most will be the third world countries because they were getting a glimpse of western life style (Cell phone, Cars, Furnished homes, Power, Education, Food....) Now as EU, US, and UK are suffering from these crises these ripples will be felt or will become Tsunamis for Third World Countries.
My personal suggestion is that IMF, World Bank, and Asia Development Bank should work closely with NGOs and United Nation to make sure a timely supply of US dollars in local commercial level banks along with a strong support or promise of developing industrial complex of third world.
